Through our awards programs, the Foundation seeks to recognize and reward people who exemplify our shared values of natural and community stewardship. These awards aim both to inspire each honoree to redouble his or her dedication to finding innovative approaches to environmental concerns and to encourage others to follow in all of the recipients' green footprints.

In 2010, the Foundation presented awards to education and community leaders in Howard County for their achievements in promoting environmental sustainability. In 2011, we expanded the program to recognize environmental accomplishments by leaders in the arts community. Three awards, for leadership in education, community, and the arts, were awarded.

We are delighted to announce that the Robinson Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2012 Green Footprint Awards.
